Accept Watenga payments on your WooCommerce store.
Installation
- Download the plugin from downloads.watenga.africa/plugins/watenga-woocommerce.zip.
- In WordPress admin: Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin → Activate.
- WooCommerce → Settings → Payments → Watenga → Enable.
- Enter your Client ID and Secret Key from Developer Dashboard → your API app.
- Set webhook URL to:
https://YOUR-DOMAIN/wc-api/watenga
Test mode
Enable Test Mode in plugin settings and use sandbox keys from a Sandbox API app.

Troubleshooting
| Error | Solution |
|---|---|
| Invalid API key | Confirm Client ID and Secret Key match your Sandbox/Live app |
| Webhook signature failed | Re-save webhook secret in plugin settings |
| Order stuck pending | Check WooCommerce → Status → Watenga logs; verify webhook URL is reachable |
| PHONE_REQUIRED | Enable phone field at checkout for mobile money |
