Your customers' billing page
A page of your own where subscribers see and manage their subscriptions, without an account.
What customers can do
- See their current plan, trial end and next renewal.
- Switch to the plans you offer there (same currency; the difference goes on the next invoice).
- Cancel at the end of the period, or pause, when you allow it.
- Pay with another saved card, or a new card entered in the secure card form.
- Update the name, phone, billing address and tax number on their invoices.
- Download their invoices as PDF.
The page shows your Checkout Studio name, logo, colour and links, and lives on your own checkout domain when you have one. Choose what customers may do in Subscriptions › Billing setup.
How customers reach it
Every subscription email (receipt, failed payment, suspension, cancellation, invoice ready) carries a Manage subscription link that works for seven days. From the Dashboard, a subscription's Copy billing page link gives you a link to send. From your own site, create a link when the customer clicks Manage billing and redirect them to it.
Create a link from your server
bash
curl https://api.watenga.africa/v1/billing/portal-links \
-H "Authorization: Bearer sk_live_..." \
-H "Idempotency-Key: $(uuidgen)" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{
"customer_email": "rudo@example.com",
"return_url": "https://example.com/account"
}'json
{
"success": true,
"data": {
"url": "https://pay.example.com/pay/billing/wbp_...",
"expires_at": "2026-10-23T15:00:00.000Z"
}
}A link created this way works for an hour and opens a session for that customer only. Create it when the customer asks, and do not store it. Revoke every open link of a customer with POST /v1/billing/portal-links/revoke.
